Montoya gets Heroy as new crew chief

Chris Heroy will be Juan Pablo Montoya's crew chief for the 2012 Sprint Cup Series season, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing announced Tuesday. Following a difficult season for the outfit which included replacing Montoya's previous crew chief Brian Pattie, with Jim Pohlman filling in on an interim basis, the team has named Heroy as the man taking over the role with immediate effect
