Class A Wine
For the second season in a row, the NASCAR iRacing Class A Series made a trip to “Wine Country” for a visit to the tricky Infineon Raceway. This ten turn, two mile raceway in Sonoma, California presents many challenges for its competitors. A technical uphill section combined with a blistering fast downhill section never allows drivers to let their guard down. While most sim racers were not up to the challenge, fifty-seven competed in races throughout the week, which is about the same amount that took to the track here last season. Roland Ehnstr�m, the Scandinavian who has been impressive on ovals, showed he also had what it takes to conquer the tricky road out west.� Ehnstr�m grabbed top honors for his 224 point win over Scott Heckert, leading 53 [...]
