Grosjean tests 2009 Renault

Romain Grosjean got himself back up to speed with Formula 1 machinery this week by testing a 2009 Renault at Valencia, ahead of his travels to the final flyaway events as the team's official reserve driver. The Frenchman, who won this year's GP2 Series, has not tested an F1 car properly since 2009, and he was given two days at Valencia this week in an R29 to get used once again to the power and handling characteristics of grand prix machinery

MotoGP: Qualifying at the Aragon GP

With power issues plaguing Friday’s Free Practice sessions, MotoGP took to the track Saturday in full-effort as riders and teams scrambled to make up for lost time. One of five races remaining in the season, the Aragon GP continues Jorge Lorenzo’s do or die point of the season, as the reigning-World Champion is on a campaign to claw back Casey Stoner’s 35 point lead in the MotoGP Championship standings. With the Yamaha’s struggling at Motorland ...

Alfalla Wins Texas, Closes in on Championship

With only three races remaining in the 2011 NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Championship, (NiSWC) it is do or die time, especially for those still alive in the quest for the championship. Texas Motor Speedway played host to the sixteenth race of the season and saw one man rise above the rest. Championship leader Ray Alfalla passed polesitter Josh Parker for the lead on the race?s long green flag run and led nearly all the remaining laps for his third victory of the 2011 NiSWC season. Early in the race, it appeared that it was Parker?s race to lose. He started on the pole and was quickly building a gap when a massive crash happened off of Turn Two on the second lap of the race. James Vacca, NIMBY Accomplice

So we’ve gone through the initial round of coverage and reactions to Wednesday’s bike-share announcement.
Photo: YourNabe
Mixed in with a healthy amount of fairly straightforward reporting, there were the predictable slants. The Brooklyn Paper went in search of controversy. The Post and the Daily News editorial boards fantasized about dismemberment and death. Perpetual Soho crank Sean [...]

Ryder spots Rossi trying to sell a dummy to the paddock: Rossi’s Friday comment about raising the handlebars being responsible for the improvement is clearly disingenuous.
